Winner: Cherry Olive Cocktail Club
Given all the headlines from Dry Wave Cocktail Studio last year, this one seems a little obvious. Supawit “Palm” Muttarattana is coming in hot with yet another brand new space, this time inspired by cherries and olives. Convent Road is absolutely packed with some of the best cocktail bars in town, and this one still managed to rise above the noise. Split into Cherry and Olive, the menu follows your feelings to make a story of your night out. As for what’s in the glass, you’ll find the classics turned on their heads and nostalgic flavors you didn’t think could be in a cocktail.
The Norm Bangkok
Opening in February earlier this year, The Norm Bangkok sits on the 42nd floor at Dusit Central Park, so the views are absolutely spectacular. However, it’s the design and the service that really makes this new bar special. A little bit indoor, a little bit outdoor, this spot has on-point signature cocktails and a sleek vibe that mixes Scandinavian style with a sort of vintage turn-of-the-century atmosphere. While this can definitely be a place to go for quiet (in the Whispering Room in particular), it can still be a space to party.
Sala Saneha
Well, this is definitely the first cinema to ever make this list. Yes, there’s good food. Yes, there’s decent wine. You’ll also find a cinema and bookstore in this 70-year-old building. But this space has also just captured the city’s imagination — a venue that’s truly unique, fun, and undeniably Thai. Patrons know to check in regularly to see if there’s going to be a talk by queer activist and artist Oat Montien or maybe just a showing of Bridget Jones’s Diary. Bangkok needs more venues like this and this city is hungry for them.
Piscari
Opening after last year’s BAD Awards in December of 2025, Piscari has had enough time to make a splash on Bangkok’s nightlife scene. The Piscari venue boasts two bars. The main space at the front is an aperitivo space with music by a live DJ in the background. The signature concoctions here are designed around the philosophy of Aperitivo. To keep the night going, Piscari’s speakeasy, with a design inspired by the enigmatic Blue Grotto, is a great spot for deep talks. All of this is set against excellent views and in a space (and menu) inspired by the breezy Mediterranean.
Door No.6
Opening in March this year, Door No.6 is a cocktail bar and speakeasy that all the cool kids are talking about — and one you might have missed in the barrage of constantly opening bars in Bangkok. The menu is simple (very simple) and the drinks are complex. There are just six drinks at this space, Doors 1-6. That’s it. Door No.6 was created out of a bespoke tailoring house on Sukhumvit Soi 6, hence the “tailored” precision of their drinks. It’s a fun gimmick and a dark, stylish venue.
